Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to maintain a clean, well-organized store with a customer-first focus in Georgia. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock and rotate merchandise, and help with planograms.

You may open/close the store and perform duties in the absence of the Store Manager. The role requires strong customer service, cash handling, basic math, and the ability to follow planograms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.
• Ability to read and follow planograms; basic math calculations and cash handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases, collect payment, and assist customers.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate on shelves, and build displays according to planograms.
• Clean the store; take out trash; clean floors, restrooms and stockroom; assist with sidewalk displays.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager.
• Perform duties typically performed by the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in their absence.
