Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to maintain a clean, well-organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock and rotate merchandise, and help with displays.

You may act as a leader in the Store Manager's absence and perform related duties to maximize store profitability and customer satisfaction. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, basic math, planogram understanding, and the ability to drive store processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of supervisory experience or related training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner; handle payment; bag merchandise and assist customers.
• Receive, open, unpack boxes; stock, rotate merchandise, and build displays.
• Clean the store; take out trash; clean restrooms and stockroom; set up sidewalk displays.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Open and close the store under direction of Store Manager.
• Perform duties in absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
