Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to help maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock and recover merchandise, and perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

You may lead in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, and will perform related duties to maximize store profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting assets.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.
• Ability to follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics and cash handling procedures.
• Knowledge of safety policies and practices.

Aufgaben

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases, collect payment, make change, bag merchandise.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate on shelves; build merchandise displays.
• Clean the store; take out trash; dust and mop floors; clean restrooms and stockrooms; set up sidewalk displays.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager.
• Perform duties of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in their absence.
