Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to help maintain a clean, well-organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist customers in locating and purchasing merchandise, operate a cash register, stock and recover merchandise, and support the Store Manager.

In this lead role you may stand in for the Store Manager in their absence, open and close the store, and help implement planograms while ensuring store profitability and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience or related training.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic math and cash handling.
• Ability to read planograms and merchandise presentation guides.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register, total purchases, collect payment, and make change.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate on shelves, and build displays.
• Keep the store clean; manage trash and cleaning tasks.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager.
• Perform duties in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
