Dollar General Lead Sales Associate position in Lorain, OH, requests a customer-first approach with duties including assisting customers, operating the cashier, stocking merchandise, and maintaining displays. The role acts in a lead capacity when the Store Manager is unavailable and requires basic supervisory experience and reliable daily presence.

Responsibilities include opening/closing the store, enforcing safety policies, and supporting store profitability while protecting assets.

Competenze

High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to operate a cash register and process payments.
Ability to read planograms and merchandising guides.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases, collect payment, bag merchandise.
Stock merchandise; build merchandise displays and maintain planograms.
Clean the store; handle trash; mop floors; clean restrooms and stockroom.
Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager.
Perform duties of Sales Associate and assist in management tasks when Store Manager is absent.
