Job summary

Dollar General in Rayville, LA seeks a Lead Sales Associate to maintain a clean, well-organized store and provide a customer-first experience. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock merchandise, and support the Store Manager in daily operations.

In this lead role you may act in a supervisory capacity in the Store Manager's absence, help implement planograms, open/close the store, and ensure store profitability while safeguarding assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; six months of supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to operate cash register and handle money.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership and assist customers.
• Operate cash register, total purchases, collect payment, bag merchandise.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate displays, and set up planograms.
• Clean store and assist with sidewalk displays and store upkeep.
• Open/close the store under the Store Manager's direction.
• Perform duties in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
