Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Lead Sales Associate in Louisiana to help maintain a clean, customer-first store. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock merchandise, and ensure displays follow planograms.

In the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, you will perform leadership duties to support store profitability and customer satisfaction. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 6 months of supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; six months of supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Strong math skills and cash handling abilities.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership and assist customers.
• Operate cash register, itemize purchases, collect payment, and make change.
• Stock, rotate merchandise, build displays, and follow planograms.
• Keep the store clean and assist with sidewalk displays and store upkeep.
• Open and close the store per direction of the Store Manager; act in leadership in their absence.
