Dollar General Assistant Store Manager position in Knoxville, TN focuses on customer-first service and store supervision. You’ll assist with scheduling, training, merchandising, and deposits, while maintaining inventory and cash controls.

The role supports the Store Manager and ensures profitability and asset protection in a fast-paced retail environment. Strong communication, organization, and basic math are essential, along with a high school diploma and retail experience.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment.
• Six months supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet customers and operate POS.
• Open and close the store at least two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise receiving, stocking, restocking, and displays.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, control damages, and process paperwork.
• Assist in cashier accountability, cash control, and deposits.
• Help manage the store in the Store Manager's absence.
