Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Meriden location. You will assist with day-to-day activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise flows smoothly from delivery to floor.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with questions and concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain store areas to company standards.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll and scheduling.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Train and develop Store Associates.
