Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Newington, CT location. You will assist with opening/closing, merchandising, payroll, scheduling, and loss prevention, while leading and coaching Store Associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional displays and fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention tasks.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store areas and organized stockroom.
• Protect store assets, including cash.
