Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Hartford, CT is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development.

You will assist with day-to-day activities, help customers, and back up the Store Manager in scheduling and staff training. Maintain a clean, well-stocked floor and assist in merchandise flow while upholding safety, policy compliance, and friendly service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Supervise and train store associates.
• Oversee merchandise flow from delivery to floor.
• Maintain clean, organized selling areas and stockrooms.
