Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in Milford, CT. The role involves assisting with daily store activities, organizing merchandise, and ensuring displays are maintained.

The successful candidate will help supervise and train Store Associates, deliver high levels of customer service, and uphold company policies, safety, and loss prevention standards while creating a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented retail environment.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store tasks.

Responsabilités

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor as needed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for storefronts.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping including payroll and scheduling.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure associates follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, restocking and cleaning bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
