Job summary

Topdrawer in Brookline, MA is seeking an Assistant Manager who serves as the Store Manager’s right hand, stepping into leadership to drive store performance and deliver Topdrawer’s quiet, design-focused customer experience.

You will coach and develop the team, oversee daily operations, plan inventory and events, and partner with leadership on KPIs, training, and growth toward Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Proven coaching and team development skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and model a warm, educational, and highly personalized customer experience.
• Oversee daily operations including opening/closing, inventory flow, and cash handling.
• Oversee visual merchandising and floor sets to brand standards.
• Partner with the Store Manager to build local community connections and brand awareness.
• Co-own sales goals, KPIs, and financial results with the Store Manager.
