Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Cashier/Stocker to support store operations in Leighton, AL. You will assist customers, stock shelves, maintain displays, and help with plan-o-grams while ensuring a clean, organized store.

You will work under Store Manager direction, greeting customers, operating the register, handling payments, and helping reduce losses through accuracy and teamwork. Prior retail experience preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of supervisory experience or related training preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math and cash handling.
• Ability to read plan‑o‑gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities
