Job summary

Dollar General is hiring a Cashier/Stocker to support daily store operations and customer service. You will stock merchandise, assist customers, and maintain a clean, organized store environment.

Under the supervision of the Store Manager, you will participate in plan-o-gram execution, run registers, and help with opening/closing duties while upholding safety and loss-prevention practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong math, cash handling, and accuracy for register operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; teamwork oriented.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock shelves according to plan.
• Greet customers and assist in locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and process payments.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety.
• Open/close store under Area Manager direction.
• Authorize refunds in the absence of managers.
