Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Cashier/Stocker to support daily store operations and customer service. You will assist in stocking, merchandising, and maintaining plan-o-grams while delivering friendly, efficient service at the register.

In this role you will handle cash, operate the POS system, and ensure the store remains clean and safe for customers and colleagues. Previous supervisory exposure is valued but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of supervisory experience or related training preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly.

Responsibilities

• Unload shipments and stock shelves to maintain store layout.
• Assist customers and locate merchandise to improve shopping experience.
• Operate cash register and process sales transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized store and assist with safety and security.
