Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to operate cash register and process payments accurately.
• Understand planograms and merchandise presentation guidelines.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and store safety practices.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases, collect payment and bag merchandise.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate on shelves; assist in displays.
• Clean the store, take out trash, mop floors, and help with sidewalk displays.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Open and close the store under direction of Store Manager.
• Perform duties of Store Manager/Assistant in their absence.
