Dollar General is seeking a Lead Sales Associate in Reading, PA to support store operations and lead in the absence of the Store Manager. You will assist customers, manage the register, stock shelves, and help maintain displays in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Basic math and cash handling knowledge for register transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership and greet customers.
• Operate cash register, total purchases, collect payment, and bag merchandise.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate displays, and build displays.
• Clean the store and maintain housekeeping throughout shifts.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Open and close the store under direction of Store Manager.
• Perform duties of Store Manager/Assistant Manager in their absence.
