Job summary

Family Dollar in Fort Thomas, KY, is seeking a part‑time Keyholder to support store operations and customer service. You will assist the Store Manager, manage daily tasks, and help maintain a clean, well‑stocked store while handling sales transactions.

The role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays; lifting up to 40–55 lbs; and previous retail experience is preferred. Training will be provided to ensure policy compliance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• We prefer completion of high school or equivalent and ability to read operational directives.

Responsibilities

• Guide store team on operating practices and procedures.
• Greet and assist customers and resolve inquiries.
• Assist customers and increase average basket via suggestive selling.
• Maintain a clean, well‑stocked store and manage stock transfers.
• Handle customer funds and process transactions using the POS system.
• Assist in unloading merchandise and relocate from stockroom to floor.
