Job summary

Dollar General Lead Sales Associate position seeks a customer-focused individual to assist shoppers, operate the register, stock shelves, and maintain a clean store environment at multiple Dollar General locations.

The role requires the ability to follow planograms, handle cash, and support store operations under the Store Manager's supervision. Opportunities to supervise during absence may arise.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to follow planograms and perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner; total purchases, collect payment, bag merchandise.
• Stock merchandise; restock and rotate on shelves; build displays.
• Clean the store; take out trash; mop floors; clean restrooms and stockroom.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager.
• Perform duties of Store Manager or Assistant in their absence.
