Job summary

Petco is seeking a Key Holder to support store leadership, supervise partners, open and close the store, and serve as a daily on-floor leader for a safe, pet-friendly environment. You’ll deliver friendly, knowledgeable service, help train new partners, and ensure merchandising standards, pricing accuracy, and a clean, visually appealing shopping area.

This role requires leadership, problem-solving, and strong communication as you help drive store goals while maintaining excellent customer

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and experience handling cash and transactions.
• Reliable, responsible, and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Uphold animal care standards and safety.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to customers.

• Assist training new partners and reinforce best practices.
• Open and close the store and handle daily operations.
