Job summary

Taka Hardware & Engineering (S) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a warehouse associate to receive, inspect, and manage hardware inventory. You will label, store, and track stock, while coordinating with sales and procurement to support daily operations.

Responsibilities include delivering items to customers, performing stock counts, and ensuring safety and compliance. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in warehousing and basic Excel skills, with robust organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehousing or delivery experience.
• Familiarity with hardware items and tools is an advantage.
• Basic computer skills (e.g. MS Excel)
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Capable of handling loading, unloading, and heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify hardware items against delivery orders.
• Label, store, and organize inventory for easy identification and retrieval.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock movements in the system.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Pick, pack, and issue items according to sales orders or internal requests.
• Conduct regular stock counts and assist in stock audits.
• Handle returns, damaged goods, and discrepancies with suppliers.
• Deliver hardware and construction materials to customers and project sites.
• Load and unload goods from the warehouse and delivery vehicle.
• Ensure accurate deliveries according to invoices and delivery orders.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the company vehicle.
• Follow delivery schedules and ensure safe driving practices at all times.
• Ensure the store/warehouse is clean, safe, and compliant with safety regulations.
• Coordinate with sales and procurement teams to support smooth daily operations.

Requirements:

• Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident only

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in warehousing, storekeeping, or delivery roles, preferably in a hardware, construction, or industrial supply environment

• Familiarity with hardware items and tools is an advantage

• Basic computer skills (e.g. MS Excel)

• Good organizational and record-keeping skills

• Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently
