Job summary

ST Engineering is looking for an inventory planner to monitor demand and issue inventory to production, coordinating with the production team to fulfill requirements. You will maintain stock control records, handle stock movements, and support material planning through stocktakes and reports.

Key duties include updating MRP settings, processing returns, and coordinating transport for SBUs. Strong Excel/Word skills and SAP familiarity are preferred for data and reporting tasks.

Qualifications

• Completion of O Level/Nitec or equivalent is preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and Word for data and reporting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor demand and issue inventory to ensure materials are available for production.
• Process and manage all production demands with the production team to meet requirements.
• Maintain accurate stock records and manage stock control system.
• Coordinate stock from SBUs including raising CV, arranging transport and adhoc transport forms.
• Handle processing and monitoring of parts returns from production with timely updates in the system.
• Prepare and execute stocktake plan including physical inventory documents and stocktake reports.
• Prepare inventory status, issuance, returns, MOQ, stocktake and shelf-life reports and other ad hoc requests.
• Update MRP settings as requested by the Material Planning team.

Job description

Monitor demand and issuance of inventory items with precision to ensure materials are available for production without delays.

Process and manage all production demands efficiently, coordinating closely with the production team to meet their requirements.

Monitoring accurate record of inventory and stock management system.

Conversion of stock from SBUs. Including raising CV, arranging for transportation and managing transport adhoc form.

Handle the processing and monitoring of parts returned from production, ensuring proper recording and timely updates in the system.

Prepare and execute stocktake plan include processing physical inventory documents and preparing stocktake report.

Prepare inventory status, issuance, returns, MOQ, stocktake and shelf-life reports and other ad hoc requests.

Update Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) settings as requested by the Material Planning team.

Requirements and Skills:

Completion of "O" Level/ Nitec or equivalent qualification is preferred.

Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, to manage data and reporting tasks efficiently.

Familiarity with SAP system is preferred.

Possess good interpersonal skill and a positive attitude to handle challenging customers and resolve tense situations.

Strong interpersonal skills coupled with a positive, solution-oriented mindset, capable of handling challenging customer interactions professionally and resolving tense situations calmly.

Ability to work effectively under pressure with a strong sense of urgency, maintaining accuracy and quality in a fast-paced environment.Willingness and flexibility to support operational requirements, includingworking five weekdays plus additional scheduled support on Saturday and/or Sunday.
