Job summary

Paylocity in Tampa, FL is seeking a Driver/Warehouse Associate to safely transport products to customers, vendors, and company locations while supporting daily warehouse operations.

You will deliver, receive and stock inventory, maintain an organized warehouse, and provide excellent customer service, with opportunities to operate pallet jacks and forklifts if certified.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous driving, delivery, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.
• Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain certification).
• Basic computer and inventory management skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up products, materials, and equipment.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments; stock inventory.
• Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment or delivery.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

The Driver/Warehouse Associate is responsible for safely transporting products to customers, vendors, and company locations while supporting daily warehouse operations. This position requires a dependable individual who can efficiently perform deliveries, receive and stock inventory, maintain an organized warehouse, and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

Driving & Delivery

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up products, materials, and equipment.


• Verify delivery loads for accuracy before departure.


• Load and unload products using proper lifting techniques and equipment.


• Obtain delivery confirmations and maintain accurate delivery records.


• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.


• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.

Warehouse Operations

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.


• Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.


• Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment or delivery.


• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.


• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.


• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).


• Assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed.

General Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).


• Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, customers, and vendors.


• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.


• Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers.
