Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a store associate in Little Rock, AR to maintain store cleanliness and assist customers.

You will deliver friendly service, help shoppers locate items, handle basic checkout tasks, and support omni-channel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship from Store. Ideal candidates have retail or cleaning experience, can stand for long periods, and work across nights, weekends, and early mornings as needed.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of store look, cleanliness and recovery to support brand promises.
• Provide friendly customer service and help customers find products.
• Collect and dispose of trash, dust and mop floors as required.
• Move equipment and products for cleaning and place items back correctly.
• Perform cleaning tasks using assigned materials and may mix solutions as needed.
• Deep clean high-traffic areas (bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways).
• Maintain cleaning equipment and notify supervisor for supplies.
• Support cash handling, rewards program enrollment, and omni-channel processes (BOPIS/SFS).
• Assist with truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs and comply with SOPs and company policies.
