Job summary

Gordon Food Service offers a 12-week paid internship at our Home Office, with mentorship and meaningful projects across the business family. You will gain exposure to HR, recruiting, investigations, and cross-functional teams in North America and Canada, developing practical professional skills.

You will participate in networking events, workshops, and a robust mentorship program, building connections while exploring a variety of career paths within our organization.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Responsibilities

• Refresh in-store recruitment flyers, conduct phone screens, and help develop welcome packages.
• Shadow and training on internal investigations, and assist with organizing personnel files.
• Engage in Talent Acquisition and HR initiatives to gain operational experience.
• Attend networking opportunities in and outside the office.
• Shadow roles across the organization to explore career paths and participate in mentorship activities.

Education

Working alongside our Store Human Resources team that serves our customers, employees, and partners across North America and Canada. Collaborating with other Gordon Food Service interns and employees in the following areas:

• Marketing & Merchandising
• Supply Chain
• Sales

Build a Career:

In the Store Human Resources department by:

• Refreshing In store recruitment flyers, conduct phone screens, clean up requisitions, and gather input from new managers to develop a welcome package.
• Shadowing and training on internal investigations, and assisting with organizing and assembling personnel files.
• Engagingin joint TA and HR initiatives to gain comprehensive operational experience.
