Job summary

Gordon Food Service in North America offers a 12-week paid internship in the HR Information System department, with exposure to Workday modules, lifecycle management, HR analytics, and process improvements. You must be enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Information Systems, authorized to work in the US, and maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Responsibilities

• HR Operational Support & System Administration: Provide end-user support and technical assistance to business users within Workday HRIS modules.
• Workday System Configuration & Lifecycle Management: Design, build, test, and migrate Workday solutions from non-production to production environments.
• HR Analytics, Reporting & Data Interpretation: Develop custom reports and analyze HR data to produce actionable workforce metrics.
• Process Improvement & Quality Monitoring: Analyze HR processes and Workday workflows to implement improvements and maintain documentation.

Build a Career

In the HR Information System department by:

• HR Operational Support & System Administration: Provide end-user support and technical assistance to business users across the organization for Workday HRIS modules, troubleshooting issues and maintaining system integrity.
• Workday System Configuration & Lifecycle Management: Participate in the full configuration lifecycle by designing, building, testing, and migrating Workday solutions from non-production environments into production to align with business requirements.
• HR Analytics, Reporting & Data Interpretation: Develop custom reports, analyze HR datasets, and translate business questions into actionable workforce metrics and insights using Workday data tools.
• Process Improvement & Quality Monitoring: Analyze existing HR departmental processes and Workday workflows to recommend and implement continuous improvements and maintain clear documentation.
