Job summary

Gordon Food Service is offering a 12-week paid internship at our Home Office, designed to provide hands-on experience across multiple business areas, including MT/HR functions and mentoring within a large food service distribution company.

You will shadow, learn, and contribute to projects that impact our business, with networking opportunities and workshops to sharpen your professional skills.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor's degree.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting activities, including phone screens and gathering input for new manager welcome packages.
• Shadow and train on internal investigations, and help organize personnel files.
• Engage in TA and HR initiatives to gain broad operational experience.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field

• Refreshing In store recruitment flyers, conduct phone screens, clean up requisitions, and gather input from new managers to develop a welcome package.
• Shadowing and training on internal investigations, and assisting with organizing and assembling personnel files.
