Job summary

Gordon Food Service is offering a 12-week paid internship at our Home Office. This program provides hands-on experience and meaningful projects that impact our business, with mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities across North America and Canada.

As an intern in the HR Information System department, you will support Workday HRIS modules, participate in configuration lifecycle, develop HR analytics and reports, and help improve processes.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource, Information Systems or related field.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support and technical assistance to business users across the organization for Workday HRIS modules, troubleshooting issues and maintaining system integrity.
• Workday System Configuration & Lifecycle Management: Design, build, test, and migrate Workday solutions from non-production environments into production to align with business requirements.
• HR Analytics, Reporting & Data Interpretation: Develop custom reports, analyze HR datasets, and translate business questions into actionable workforce metrics and insights using Workday data tools.
• Process Improvement & Quality Monitoring: Analyze existing HR departmental processes and Workday workflows to recommend and implement continuous improvements and maintain clear documentation.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Information Systems or related field

Build a Career:

In the HR Information System department by:
