Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Courtesy Clerk to support customers from greeting at the door to carrying purchases to their vehicles. You will help keep the store clean, stocked, and welcoming, while working as part of a dedicated team during daytime shifts.

No formal education or experience is required as full training is provided; the role involves light physical tasks, customer interaction, and collaboration with store staff to ensure a positive shopping experience for all guests.

• Comfort with standing, walking, and light physical tasks during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and provide friendly service.
• Assist customers in bagging and transporting purchases to their vehicles.
• Stock, clean, and maintain store areas to keep the store welcoming.
• Transport carts from the parking lot and manage cart corrals.
• Restroom and store cleanliness, including sweeping and mopping as needed.
• Assist in other departments and support special projects when required.
