Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a Stocker to keep store shelves full and organized throughout the day. You will welcome customers, assist with product locations, and help unload trucks while rotating stock for freshness.

No prior experience is required and on-the-job training will be provided. This role involves standing, walking, and light to moderate lifting in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to stand/walk and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced store.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and stock calculations.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help them locate products throughout the store.
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate products, and ensure freshness.
• Monitor stock levels, report mis-picks or damaged items, and assist with price tagging.
• Keep backroom and shelves organized, clean, and well-stocked.
• Assist with register duties and maintain store cleanliness and safety.
