Job summary

Michaels is seeking store team members for the N. ORL-SLIDELL location to deliver friendly customer service, help customers find products, and ensure a fast checkout experience.

The role includes unloading trucks, stocking, planograms, merchandise recovery, and participation in omnichannel processes such as BOPIS and SFS. Must be at least 16 years old and comfortable working nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintain stock and store recovery.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies and standards.
• Interact respectfully and promote the company's vision and values.
