Job summary

Athleta is seeking a General Manager to lead a store team and deliver a profitable business plan. You will translate brand vision into in-store actions, drive sales growth through Customer Operations, Merchandising, Product Operations, and talent development, and coach the team to deliver best-in-class customer experiences.

You will lead by example, manage budgets, and ensure operational excellence while fostering inclusivity and brand loyalty across the store team.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of retail experience with leadership responsibilities.
• College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong communication with customers and employees.
• Proven ability to deliver results and meet goals.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Analyze performance data and drive KPIs with leadership.
• Forecast and schedule to drive profitable sales.
• Manage store budget to support the P&L.
• Build and develop high-performing teams.
• Coach and provide feedback to improve performance.
• Lead SOPs and initiatives.
• Promote an inclusive environment.
• Ensure compliance standards.
