Smoothie King is seeking a General Manager in Lafayette, IN to lead a high-performing store team and deliver an extraordinary guest experience. You will drive profitability, ensure food safety, and uphold brand standards while adapting to evolving store needs.

You’ll manage operational tools, develop staff, and implement local marketing – all to support Smoothie King’s mission of helping people live healthier lives. The role requires flexibility in hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in business, hospitality management, or similar preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a manager or supervisor in a restaurant or similar retail customer service business.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills; energized by working with people.
• Demonstrates integrity, honesty and alignment with company culture, values, and mission.
• Customer-first attitude; can identify and respond to customer needs.
• Bias toward action; willing to roll up sleeves to get the job done.
• Ability to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop, and lead the store team to deliver a great guest experience and fulfill the mission to inspire healthy living.
• Use operational tools (P&L, Daily Business Review, Cash & Deposit Log) to achieve operational excellence.
• Maintain supplier relationships and inventory management.
• Review KPIs to identify problems and opportunities for improvement and act accordingly.
• Manage store cash activities (daily deposits).
• Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines by the team at all times.
• Uphold brand standards and store appearance.
• Drive company programs through action planning and team motivation.
• Develop local store marketing plans and engage with community initiatives.
