Job summary

Red White & Blue Thrift Store is seeking a General Manager to drive financial performance and operational excellence. You will lead the store team, own the P&L, and implement strategic initiatives to meet budgets and improve customer experience.

You will train and develop the Production Manager and Retail Manager, oversee scheduling, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining a high standard of service in a fast-paced thrift environment.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred for interactions with customers and donors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication required.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Customer service mindset with focus on store experience.
• Strong attention to detail in data, scheduling and compliance.
• MS Office, HRIS, and standard business software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own the store P&L and drive top-line sales and profitability.
• Oversee backroom operations and ensure prompt shelving and pricing.
• Develop and coach Production and Retail Managers for performance.
• Create dynamic work schedules to balance peak times and costs.
• Manage performance reviews and maintain a strong bench for openings.
• Ensure compliance with policies and wage/hour regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming customer experience.
