Job summary

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years’ experience with proven success in a supervisory or leadership role in retail, finance, service, or related industries.
• Operations experience in a leadership capacity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using phones, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday (mileage compensated).
• Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
• Background check required.
• The ability to meet the physical demands of this position, which frequently includes remaining in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time; moving and transporting up to 25 pounds; moving inside and outside of the store; and operating mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall store performance by meeting or exceeding Company performance standards.
• Coach, lead, and develop all team members to build new business and increase store growth by training on systems, standards, account management, recovery, duties, and performance reports.
• Lead local marketing strategies, partnerships, referrals, and events to drive growth and revenue.
• Examine, evaluate, and process loan/pawn applications and assess risk within limits.
• Enforce adherence to quality standards, procedures, and laws; participate in audits and reviews.
• Supervise cash handling, loss prevention, and daily financial controls.
• Conduct opening/closing procedures and train staff in keyholder duties.
• Participate in hiring and retention of new employees.
• Develop work schedules aligned to budget and store needs; ensure adequate staffing.
• Handle complex customer situations with integrity and professionalism.
• Maintain store appearance and facility needs; oversee planograms and seasonal materials.
• Occasionally perform off-site tasks such as vehicle appraisals, errands, and external marketing.
