Job summary

Office Depot Office Max is seeking a General Manager to drive overall store performance, sales and customer experience. You will own training, hiring, merchandising, and operations, and lead the team to achieve profitability targets while engaging with the local community.

The role requires 2–4 years of management experience, strong business acumen, and proven leadership to inspire a high-performing team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2–4 years of management experience or equivalent development program experience
• Strong business acumen and sound judgment with proven people-management abilities
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach and influence at all levels

Responsibilities

• Owns and drives sales, services, operations, and profitability for the location
• Leads associate training, development, coaching, and succession planning
• Manages hiring, merchandising, and execution of store standards
• Develops strategies to increase customer traffic and loyalty and partners with business units
