MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking an energetic General Manager to lead the Belleville Store - N Belt W team in Belleville, IL. You will manage operations, budgets, staff, and customer service while upholding our mission, Changing Lives Through the Power of Work!

The role offers hourly pay at $25.00, bonus potential up to $18,000 per year, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, 403(b)/401(a), PTO, and paid holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Overseeing store operations, resources, and budgets to ensure goals are met.
• Model core values and foster a safety, ethics, and quality culture within the store.
• Supervise, direct, and train staff and ensure essential functions are performed.
• Provide superior internal and external customer service to ensure retention and de-escalate dissatisfaction.
• Coach and counsel employees regarding performance, including discipline up to termination.
• Assign daily duties to achieve operational tasks.
• Identify employees for advancement based on performance.
• Safeguard company property and report any issues to management/HR.
• Read, follow, and enforce all agency policies, procedures, and values.
• Arrange staffing replacements when necessary and approve payroll.
• Eliminate wasteful practices through process improvements.
• Maintain professional appearance per dress code.
