Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill Industries is hiring an Assistant General Manager for the Shawnee Store - Mission. This full-time hourly role includes managing operations, staff supervision, and ensuring exceptional donor and customer experiences.

The position offers a strong benefits package with medical, dental, life, retirement options, and performance bonuses up to $500 per month. A valid MO/IL license and relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; some college preferred.
• One year of Management experience; Previous Goodwill Retail/Warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid MO or IL driver’s license and insurance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including customer service, conflict resolution, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations with Store Manager to meet goals and benchmarks.
• Model core values and uphold safety, ethics, and quality within the store.
• Supervise, direct, and train staff and ensure essential functions are performed.
• Provide superior customer service to ensure donor, shopper, and staff retention.
