Job summary

Foot Locker is seeking a part-time Sales Lead to support the Store Manager, lead the floor with energy, and deliver strong customer experiences. You will coach the team, maintain store standards, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations while building a culture of ownership and accountability on the sales floor.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of retail leadership experience, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership role.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and ready to take ownership.
• Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor with energy and ownership; drive customer interactions.
• Coach the team to deliver great service, share product knowledge, and keep customers excited to shop.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and helping close the loop with customers.
• Help manage daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and floor coverage.
• Move with purpose by keeping the store organized, customer ready, and running smoothly.
• Follow safety, loss prevention, and SOPs to protect customers, teammates, and product.
• Act as Manager on Duty when scheduled, providing leadership and direction.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training of store associates.
• Coach teammates in real time, recognizing wins and closing performance gaps.
• Jump in wherever needed to support the team and store priorities.
• Engage customers, drive store sales and conversion through strong floor leadership.
