Job summary

Ace Retail Group is seeking a Floor Supervisor to support day-to-day store operations and lead staff in the absence of the General Manager. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service, merchandise presentation, and adherence to company standards.

The Floor Supervisor will help manage opening/closing procedures, assist in loss prevention and audits, and train associates while ensuring a safe, friendly store environment. This is a full-time, on-site position at our U.S. locations.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration and motivate others both internal and external to perform enthusiastically.
• Standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50lbs) regularly, and lifting (up to 100lbs) occasionally with assistance, and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Project a positive representation of Ace Retail Group.
• Proactively assist customers in solving problems.
• Greet customers entering and throughout the store; thank customers when they are finished and leaving.
• Maintain a friendly and outgoing demeanor with customers and associates.
• Ensure calls and pages are answered promptly and courteously.
• Resolve customer complaints with Ace Retail Group's best interests in mind.
• Provide product knowledge and store layout information.
• Supervise general store operations in the absence of management.
• Assist with cashiering duties including training and audits.
• Support weekly price changes and signage updates.
