Job summary

Ace Retail Group, Wichita, KS, is seeking a Floor Supervisor to help manage store operations in the absence of the General Manager and to lead staff toward company goals. The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and operational excellence.

You will supervise daily operations, assist with opening/closing, ensure safety and loss prevention, manage inventory and merchandising, and support associates in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, assembly directions, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration and motivate others.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: greet customers and assist in solving problems.
• Supervise store operations in absence of GM/Assistant Manager.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized sales floor, stockroom and outdoor areas.
• Ensure accurate price changes and labeling.
• Assist cashiering functions including training and audits.
• Support loss prevention, safety, and audits.
