Job summary

Family Dollar in Louisville, MS is seeking a part-time Store Associate to deliver excellent customer service, assist with merchandise selection and location, and efficiently complete sales transactions. You will support store operations, assist with deliveries, and ensure inventory accuracy and store cleanliness.

The role requires availability on days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and may involve lifting up to 40 lbs (occasionally 55 lbs).

Qualifications

• Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent.
• Experience: Prefer management experience in retail, grocery or drug store environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to store team members on operating practices and procedures.
• Greet, assist and thank customers; answer questions and resolve inquiries.
• Build basket size through suggestive selling and promotions.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and ensure inventories.
• Assist in unloading merchandise and stocking shelves.
• Open/close duties in absence of store leadership.
