Job summary

Family Dollar in Mississippi is seeking a part-time team member to deliver excellent customer service, assist shoppers with merchandise, and complete sales transactions using the POS system. You will help unload deliveries, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and organized, supporting the Store Manager with daily operations.

The role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays, with opportunities to learn, grow and participate in store programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; ability to read and follow operational directives.
• Retail or grocery management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, ensuring accurate sales transactions.
• Maintain a clean, stocked store and assist with inventory.
• Assist in opening/closing duties when needed and support store operations.
• Support Store Manager with daily activities and cash handling.
• Assist with deliveries and replenishment; move merchandise to shelves.
• Protect assets and maintain store safety and appearance.
