Job summary

Family Dollar in Como, MS is seeking a store associate to provide exceptional customer service, helping customers with merchandise and completing sales transactions quickly and accurately. You will support daily store operations, assist with deliveries and replenishment, and ensure the store remains clean and well stocked for customers.

You may participate in asset protection efforts, stock transfers from stockroom to floor, and assist the Store Manager in opening/closing duties when required,

Qualifications

• Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent; ability to read, interpret and explain operational directives.
• Experience: Prefer management experience in retail, grocery or drug store environments.
• Availability: Able to work flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with merchandise selection and location.
• Handle transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and assist with inventory.
• Open or close the store and provide operational assistance in managers' absence.
• Support store operations and foster a positive image.
