Job summary

Sur La Table in Miami is seeking a Store Floor Lead to inspire customers throughout the culinary journey and to support the GM/SM in achieving sales and operational goals. As the Manager on Duty, you will ensure smooth daily operations and maintain the #bestincenter customer experience.

You will coach team members, oversee onboarding and training, and lead efforts to deliver exceptional service, stock merchandise appropriately, and meet monthly sales targets while upholding store standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of employment.
• 1 year of retail management experience, preferably in a specialty or culinary retail environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and retain a high performing team.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Passion for community engagement and providing exceptional customer experiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales floor and oversee daily store operations as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Provide coaching and feedback to elevate performance and team engagement; communicate issues to the GM/Store Manager.
• Support onboarding, training, and development of new associates.
• Represent the brand and culture by creating educational customer experiences that encourage repeat visits and loyalty.
• Assist in achieving store sales goals through customer engagement and effective team motivation.
• Ensure merchandise stock levels and visual standards are maintained; manage inventory transactions.
