Job summary

The TJ Maxx Lafayette store is seeking a store associate to maintain a clean and organized environment with a focus on floor care. You will operate the scrubber and buffer, mop, sweep, vacuum, dust, and spot clean glass and windows while following safety and loss prevention standards.

Ideal candidates have excellent customer service, can work a flexible schedule, stay organized, and handle physical tasks. Retail experience is a plus; you will join a collaborative team at the Lafayette location.

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and run floor buffer and scrubber.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.

• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Standout colleague, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Retail customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train to work in multiple areas to support business needs.

• Support Front End coverage and store recovery as needed.
