Job summary

TJ Maxx in Hyannis, MA is seeking a store associate focused on cleaning and floor care to keep the sales floor presentable and safe for customers. You will operate scrubber and buffer, mop, sweep, and assist with general store recovery while supporting daily store operations.

Candidates should have strong customer service skills, flexibility to work varied shifts, and physical stamina for cleaning tasks. Prior retail experience is a plus; join a diverse team at a leading off-price retailer.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized store environment including floor care
• Operate scrubber and buffer, dust mop, damp mop, sweep, vacuum, dust and spot clean glass/windows
• Adhere to health and safety, loss prevention, and store policies
• Cross-train in multiple store areas to support business needs
• Support Front End coverage and signage standards
• Contribute to store recovery and maintain merchandising standards
• Communicate effectively with management and Associates
• Ensure adherence to labor laws and break policies
• Participate in safety initiatives and maintain a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned
