Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Store Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, compliant retail locations and efficient operation across stores. You will address break/fix repairs, emergencies, and city violations while coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

You will visit stores daily, plan repairs, and manage capital projects with a focus on cost efficiency and quality workmanship. This role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to travel routinely between locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• 2-4 years’ experience in construction, maintenance, HVAC, electrical and general construction.
• Advanced understanding of expense control.
• Basic knowledge of computers (MS Suite, E-mail, Internet, databases).
• Strong communication skills.
• Self-starter with ability to multitask in changing workload.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage repairs and projects across assigned stores.
• Visit stores daily to respond to repair requests.
• Perform maintenance and restoration of facilities quickly and cost effectively.
• Provide cost analyses and document scopes of work.
