Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Store Manager to lead a team in a busy retail environment. You will drive sales growth, manage profitability, and ensure the store presents the O’Reilly image while conforming to procedures.

You will oversee staffing, scheduling, training, pricing, and customer service delivery, collaborating with the District Manager to hire, evaluate, and promote team members. Strong automotive knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, Manager Development Program module.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be well organized with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage time efficiently.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales by directing team members to provide prompt, courteous, and professional service.
• Solicit orders, sell company products, and represent the company per policies.
• Maintain customer base and increase sales at assigned accounts.
• Coordinate sales call efforts with the Territory Sales Manager.
• Supervise store team and work with the District Manager on HR tasks (hiring, evaluating, promoting).
• Develop and post work schedules based on sales and payroll forecasting; review timecards daily.
• Ensure compliance with policies, arrange planograms and merchandising plans.
• Handle daily store accounting tasks: sales reports, deposits, cash drawers, checks.
